Philip Matesic is an American artist, living and working in Zurich, Switzerland since 2009. He received his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Social Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2008. His performative, artistic practice includes urban interventions, conversations and knowledge exchange as primary, relational forms. Philip Matesic's projects include the organization and coordination of Theory Tuesdays (2009 - 2022) and Practical Fridays (2013 - 2019). He is currently organizing and coordinating Theory at Reseda and the president of the Pedersen Club Zürich.
