Philip Matesic (*1983) is an American/Swiss artist living and working in Zurich, Switzerland, since 2009. He earned an MFA in Social Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2008. His multidisciplinary practice moves between painting, performative and participatory projects, exploring ways of experiencing, exchanging and producing knowledge together. Conversations, urban interventions, community-based projects and non-professional knowledge exchange have been recurring forms throughout his practice.
